Government of Pará publishes results of registrations for the COP30 Volunteer Program 4jj58

A total of 1,949 candidates will begin mandatory training before the final selection of volunteers for the event 2k5j26

The Government of the State of Pará, in partnership with the Federal Government, announced on Thursday (12) the results of the pre-selected candidates for the COP30 Volunteer Program. In total, 1,949 ed candidates were classified for the mandatory training phase, scheduled to start on June 17.

The list of pre-selected candidates is available on the official program website: www.voluntarioscop30.pa.gov.br. The classified candidates must immediately on the learning platform, which will be used for the training of volunteers throughout the process. Access should be made through the link: https://voluntarios-cop-30.sitebeta.com.br.

In cases where no documentation proving the level of proficiency in English was presented, the candidates will be called for a virtual interview to assess their level. Instructions regarding the date, time, and access link will be sent via email. Any outstanding documentation issues will also be communicated individually.

The Secretary of Science, Technology and Higher, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet), Victor Dias, highlighted the importance of this moment for the volunteers. “This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the most important events on the global climate agenda up close. Each pre-selected volunteer will be qualified through a t action of the State Government, Federal Government, and the UN, receiving training to act with prominence at COP30 and contribute to the success of the event in Belém.”

The COP30 Volunteer Program is an official initiative of the Federal Government, in partnership with the Government of Pará, through Sectet. The action aims to promote qualified citizen participation in one of the most relevant global events of the year, involving sustainability, international cooperation, and the construction of social and environmental legacy.
